Chris grew up on the water in South Dartmouth, MA with early exposure to Hunt deep-V hulls and a seminal first sail across Buzzards Bay on a Hunt designed Concordia Yawl. He is an owner himself of a classic Hunt deep-V powerboat built in New Bedford in 1961. He graduated from the University of Vermont with a BA in History in 1991.
Chris has been a USCG Licensed Captain since 1986. He was a professional sailboat skipper 50-90' with several trans Atlantic and one Pacific crossing to mention along with numerous north-south runs between the Caribbean, New England and the Great Lakes.
Chris came ashore in 1999 and went to work for Ted Hood at Little Harbor Yacht Brokers in Portsmouth, RI. He also brings past sales experience from The Hinckley Company.
Chris became a member of the Hunt new and brokerage yacht sales team in January 2003.
Chris is the proud father of two young boys. His wife, Susan, is also a sailor and outdoors enthusiast.

John grew up on the water living in South Dartmouth, MA and was first introduced to boating in his early teenage years sailing wooden Beetle cats and fiberglass Rhodes 19's on Buzzards Bay. He participated in the fall and spring sailing program as a high school student at Tabor Academy in Marion, MA. During his college years, while attending Boston University, he spent his summers cruising and racing on various sailboats participating in many P.H.R.F and I.O.R. racing events throughout the Northeast.
After college, John worked for the City of Boston as an emergency room crisis intervention counselor and later as a Clinic Administrator and Psychiatric Counselor at two Boston area hospitals.
In 1976, John's love for the sea brought about a career change when he moved to Marblehead, MA and became involved in new and brokerage yachts sales. Over the past 31 years he has worked as a new yachts sales rep and broker for such companies as Graves Yachts, Ted Hood's Little Harbor Custom Yachts, Pilot Yachts (a company he founded and owned) and as a broker for two brokerage firms (Frazer Yachts and Bartram and Brakenhoff, LLC), both specializing in large yacht brokerage sales and new custom yacht construction.
John became a member of the Hunt new and brokerage yacht sales team in March 2002.
John's outside interests include his membership on the board of trustees at The Museum of Yachting in Newport, RI, attending antique auctions and long distance running.
